FLAME EFFECTS FOR THE ARTIST

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Flame Effects for the Artist is a two day workshop that introduces people to the basic principals of working with fire as an artistic medium.

The first day of class we examine the physical properties of LP-Gas and discuss proper guidelines for safely working with propane in front of an audience. We introduce concepts of working with fire such as accumulators and free burning effects. We answer questions and bring plenty of propane parts and accessories to get students better acquainted with LP-Gas.

The second day of class we help students take the principals discussed in class and apply them to building a one-of-a-kind flame effect using the parts available. We break into several groups to work on electric, plumbing and welding needs for the project.

This class is perfect for beginning artists who wish to learn more about fire art and experienced fire artists who wish to learn more about LP-Gas.fire art class - Plumbing Group
